Lions, tigers, BOOKS, Oh my!

I started reading a YA book called Dorthy Must Die" (awesome story of what happened with Dorothy in charge.) this inspired my bulletin board wheels to turn! Elisabeth gladly jumped in and made the awesome poppies and Emerald City.   Hope you like it

March of course is all about Seuss.  There are so many good Seuss quotes, it was hard to pick one!   

Heartbreaks!

Here is the bulletin board Elusabeth and I put up in the teen section.   I saw this on on Pinterest and thought it was awesome !   One side says "Follow the red hearts for lovey love." The other half says "Folliw the black hearts for saddy sad."

Love love love !

I love Eeyore.  Wish he would cheer up a bit!  I couldn't find a quote that I loved, then saw this and thought it fit perfect with his expression. I think he's so cute!  

Hunger Games

I made this bulletin board for the Catching Fire movie!  It was tricky to cut out, but I love it!

Holiday time!!

Its Christmas time, and we are decked out in the children's area! It's do fun and festive.  We also have a big dancing Santa that I move around every day.  You never know where he's going to be!!   Merry Christmas !!!

Happy Halloween

I love love Halloween.  It is so much fun.  I get so many ideas fir displays and bulletin boards I get overwhelmed!  I want to do it all!   But I can't, so here is what we did!

Did you know September is National Chicken Month?   There are so many fun chicken and duck and bird stories I had to do a display!!!  And I love plays on words, I had help with "peck up a fowl book."   It makes me giggle !!!

Swim, swim!

I was looking in the stash of creatures I had made in the past, and I found these guys!  I made these a few years ago for summer reading, and was so happy to use them again.   

Read, white, & blue!!

Elisabeth and I put this display together quick for the upcoming 4th!  Patriotic things can tend to get boring, but we found lots of fun options to display. I love the stars hanging from the ceiling and the simple props added by our sign. 

5 Tiny Gnomes

I found this story and templates on Sunflower Storytime.   I love gnomes and HAD to make this!!!   I was super excited to find our wiggly googly eyes!!!
